Learn about holistic wellbeing and how you can begin with the practice.
Since I began my mindfulness journey about three years ago, I've constantly contemplated and listed down resolutions on a monthly/quarterly basis and followed fitting life themes in my practice. For instance, I've lived through BEING since the start of the quarantine and evolved into being more present (I LIVE SO I LOVE!) while remaining hopeful for the future. This went on as I also embraced and lived by Japanese concepts Konmari, Ikigai, and Wabi-Sabi, and discovered other practices that allowed me to embody good values and connect with my overall wellness.
What is holistic well-being?
Wholistic well-being is finding balance in the seven dimensions of well-being: Physical, Intellectual, Environmental, Vocational, Social, Emotional, and Spiritual Health. Each aspect entails forms of daily practice to develop one's whole being, becoming better versions of oneself and leading a happier, more satisfying life.
To begin, just remember these words from The Center of Health and Wellbeing
Move More. Eat Better.
Boost your Brain.
Love the Earth.
Live with Purpose.
Connect with Others.
Practice Gratitude.
Nourish your Soul.

MOVE: FIND YOUR PACE & TAKE A BREATH.
Find that exercise that suits you and take your time with it. Why I chose calisthenic workouts, yoga, and pilates are because they're meditative and aligned with my current practice, transforming me into becoming more mindful of and connecting with my movements and whole body. Yours can and will be different.
